Terms

Short, because there isn’t much to say. NotchHold is a Mac app made by one person.

The free version

Free to download and use for as long as you like. It holds one item at a time. Nothing expires and there is no account.

Pro

Pro is a one-time purchase, priced per Mac: $6.99 for one, $11.99 for two, $16.99 for three. It is not a subscription, and it includes every future update to the app.

You get one licence key, and it activates on exactly the number of Macs you bought it for, no more. To use it on a different Mac, deactivate the old one first in Preferences → License; that frees the seat. Three Macs is the most a single key covers.

Payments and refunds

Purchases are handled by Dodo Payments, who act as the merchant of record and handle tax. If Pro isn’t working out, email notchhold@proton.me within 14 days of buying and you’ll get a refund. A refund disables the key.

The software

NotchHold is provided as is. It is a utility that moves files around on your own Mac; it does not upload them anywhere (see Privacy). Use it sensibly and it will not lose anything, but it comes without warranty.
